About
Named for Ida Mae.
I grew up in the country on the Mississippi coast, in a family held together by one woman: my grandmother, Ida Mae. She was a southern woman and the matriarch of our family.
She taught me the importance of creating, and of the systems that hold it together and keep it going. Watching her, I saw what it looks like to build a life on purpose. She was my first glimpse of how I could create the life I wanted as a creator.
IDA Studio carries her name, and it is built on what she taught me: make things with care, and build the structure that lets them last.
Today I bring that to businesses on the coast where I grew up: steady, well-made content, supported by a simple system that runs every month.
